We are a very relaxed, multiple discipline barn with an emphasis on Natural Horsemanship. We built Oak Rise out of a great love and respect for horses. They deserve the best care and they receive it here at Oak Rise. It doesn't seem like work when you love what you are doing. The horses give us back much more than we could ever give.

We are meticulous at keeping the facility clean and safe and the horses well cared for. As a result the turn over of horses coming and going is minimal. We don't expect to expand the facility in the future, just keep it at its manageable size and continue to flourish.

We have offered schooling shows each year since 2001. The feedback from both boarders and off-site exhibitors is positive. The shows grow each year and people encourage us to continue.
