Leadline: Open to riders 8 years of age and younger. Led by a handler and shown at the walk and trot at judges discretion.
Walk-Trot: Open to any age rider. Classes will be split into sections if entries warrant. To be shown at the walk and trot.
Low Hunter: Open to all riders that have not shown over the heights referenced.
Novice Hunter/Equitation: Open to all rides that have not shown over 18. W-T-C on the flat and cantering 18 courses.
NH Novice Medal: fence heights not to exceed 18. Junior and adult riders not having shown over 18 must accumulate 12 points to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-18. Note: When rider wins medal class at year-end finals, he/she is no longer eligible to compete in the class again. Rider must move up to NH Childrens Medal or NH23Modifed Amateur Adult Medal depending upon riders age during competition year.
Modified Hunter/Equitation: Open to all riders that have not shown over 26. Jumps 23.
NH 23 Modified Amateur Adult Medal: fence heights not to exceed 23. Amateur riders 18 years of age and older who havent shown over 26 at a recognized show must accumulate 12 points to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-18. Note: When rider wins medal class at year-end finals two (2) years consecutively, the rider must move up to the NH Adult Medal class.
NH Childrens Medal: fence heights not to exceed 23. Junior riders who havent shown over 26 at a recognized show must accumulate 12 points to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-18. NH Pony Medal: fences not to exceed 23 for small & medium ponies and 26 for large
ponies. Junior pony riders must accumulate 12 points in order to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-8. Note: When rider wins medal class at year-end finals, the rider is no longer eligible to compete in the class again and must move up to the NH Junior Medal.
Special Hunter/Equitation: Open to all riders that have not shown over 3. Jumps 26.
NH Adult Medal: fences not to exceed 29. Amateur riders 18 years of age and older must accumulate 12 points in order to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-18. Note: When rider wins medal class at year-end finals, he/she must skip one (1) year of competing in the class at the finals, but may return to compete in the class the following year.
NH Junior Medal: fences not to exceed 3. Junior riders must accumulate 12 points in order to qualify. Riders will be required to perform over a minimum of 8 fences with at least one change of direction. At least three (3) riders must complete the course. Testing is optional and is at the discretion of the judge. USEF Tests 1-18. Note: When rider wins medal class at year-end finals, the rider no longer eligible to compete in the class and must move up to the NH Adult Medal.
